What WADRA does for you
The committee monitors and considers a variety of local issues, including:
- Planning
- Traffic
- Roads and Pavements
- Trees
- Noise
- Reading Festival
- The River
- Mapledurham Playing Fields and Pavilion
We consult with Reading Borough Councillors and officers and are an experienced channel for residents’ views.
WADRA also performs fundraising for local projects. We worked with local residents, clubs and Reading Borough Council to secure funding to extend and refurbish the Pavilion at Mapledurham Playing Fields so that it is, once again, a valued and valuable local resource.
The Association’s constitution may be found here.
