We help people to learn new skills, regain lost skills and improve mental and physical health in our beautiful garden in East Reading. If you are living with disabilities or facing mental or physical health issues, gardening can help you feel better about yourself. Here at the Ridgeline Trust, we provide structured gardening sessions where you and the garden can grow together.

TüVida
When illness or disability strike, a lot of people can feel the impact. Suddenly it can seem as though life is on lockdown — whether it’s you being cared for, or you’re providing care to somebody else. Our aim is to help unlock doors; opening up the world again so that you can re-connect with others and make choices that enrich your life. At TüVida, we know that there is no ‘one one-size-fits-all’ formula for effective care and support. It’s our aim to offer the best, most appropriate care and support to people who need it.
Memory Clinic Service
If you’re concerned that you’re becoming more forgetful, or having difficulty with concentrating and keeping organised, our specialist Memory Service can assess your situation for conditions which might be affecting you.
Citizens Advice Bureau
We give people the knowledge and confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem. Our national charity and network of local charities offer confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. We help people find a way forward.
We can all face problems that seem complicated or intimidating. At Citizens Advice we believe no one should have to face these problems without good quality, independent advice. That’s why we’re here: to give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem.
Greenwich Leisure Ltd.
We exist to make community services and spaces better for everyone. That means providing access to quality community leisure and fitness facilities – and more – at a price everyone can afford. We’re a charitable social enterprise, which means we work for the benefit of everyone: the public, the communities we work in, the environment, our staff and our partners. As a result, we’re proud to be the first leisure operator in the UK to be awarded both the Social Enterprise Mark (which we held from 2010 until 2013) and the Prime Minister’s Big Society Award.

As part of the day there is an opportunity to experience The Virtual Dementia Tour® — a scientifically proven method of building a greater understanding of dementia through the use of patented sensory tools and instruction — is Your Window into Their World.
Quality care for those dealing with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias begins with family members and professional caregivers who are sensitive, patient and kind. But how can people be empathic when they have never experienced first-hand the physical and mental challenges facing those with dementia? Now there is a way.
The sessions run for approximately 2 hours at a cost of £20 per person. The Caversham Golf Club is sponsoring in order to keep the cost to a minimum. The available times are listed below. If you are interested in coming to a session, please contact WADRA or call 07540822898 with your name and preferred time to secure a place.
